Don Emilio Mongolian Beef


  • 1 tbs chopped ginger
  • 1 tbs minced garlic
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 lb beef flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbs Don Emilio Macha Morita Hot Sauce
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 2 tbs sesame oil
  • 2 large green onions


Whisk together soy sauce, 1tbs of the sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, corn starch and Don Emilio Macha Morita Hot Sauce in a bowl. Toss beef with marinade, cover and refrigerate 1 hour to overnight.

Heat 1tbs of the sesame oil in a wok or large, nonstick skillet over high heat. Add the green onions and cook for 5 to 10 seconds before stirring in the beef. Cook and stir until the beef is no longer pink and is beginning to brown, about 5 minutes. Ready! Serve with rice and veggies on the side for a nice family dinner!
